Australian born and Aussie formed, AC/DC has been melting faces with their rock for decades. Producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange, played a pivotal role in the evolution of the band’s sound, polishing Bon Scott’s vocal style, and working closely with Angus Young on the guitarist’s ripping solo from “Highway to Hell.” Tragically, the album would be the final AC/DC record to feature Bon Scott, who died just seven months later before the band could finish what would become their mega-hit record, Back in Black.
