Formed in 1965 around London, England, Pink Floyd is known for their progressive and psychedelic music. The band is known for their philosophical lyrics, experimentation, extended compositions, and elaborate live shows. During this tour, Roger Waters would become agitated with the crowd which formed the basis for their next record, The Wall (1979).
