A touch of psychedelic tie-dye is combined with the prism-spectrum album art from Pink Floyd’s 1973 classic The Dark Side of the Moon. The iconic album package was designed by Hipgnosis, a prolific graphic design group founded by Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell, whose work has also appeared on albums by Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, T. Rex, and Wings.

Having sold over 45 million copies, Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon produced such staples as “Money,” and “Us and Them,” and has been famously linked to The Wizard of Oz—although no band member has ever confirmed that the album’s synchronicity was intentional.
