Pink Floyd, an epic rock band of the past 40 years, released many hit tracks, oftentimes inspired by tours. Wish You Were Here (1975) was their 9th album and extended from their European tour content and was recorded in the famous Abbey Road. The album reception was mixed, with both praise and other finding the album uninspired compared to previous work. The fans bought 13 million copies.

The third track from the album was “Have a Cigar,” and critiqued the greed of the music industry. The song brings an abrupt start and great rock tunes, including synths and an awesome guitar solo. Several covers later emerged and is thought by many to be one of their best, statement-making songs.
