Black David Bowie Shirt

David Bowie was a visionary musician, actor, and artist. Born David Jones in 1947 in London, he began playing piano, ukulele, and guitar at a young age. He loved the theatrical – the Heroes album was made during his “Berlin” period mixing pop and rock with ambient music styling. Released in 1977, Bowie’s twelfth studio album was the only one entirely recorded in Berlin. He considered it to be a work of art and a passionate statement, with dark and atmospheric tracks like “Sense of Doubt” improvisational tones in “Joe the Lion.” The album was inspired by the Cold War and the literal division of the city into East Berlin and West Berlin. The title track is one of Bowie’s best known and most often covered songs to this day.
