AC/DC has been rocking the music scene since the 1970s. Led by Scottish born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, their music is noted for driving guitars and anthemic rock lyrics. Angus is known for his energetic performances, on-stage theatrics, and iconic “schoolboy” outfits – along with playing licks on his amped-up Gibson guitar. He often improvises on stage by showing off his “devil horns” to the audience’s delight.

The Young brothers were inspired to name their band after seeing the initials “AC/DC” on their sister’s sewing machine. Although music lovers have called AC/DC everything from punk to heavy metal, the band says they are pure rock and roll. AC/DC has sold more than 200 million records worldwide with hits including “Back In Black,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” “Hells Bells” and “Highway to Hell.”
